Settings & API Keys

The NovaPod Console Settings panel enables you to manage your developer credentials and instance defaults.

1. API Keys​

  • Purpose: Authenticate requests from the NovaPod CLI, Python SDK, or custom automation scripts.
  • Generation: Click Create Key, select the desired scopes (Compute, Storage, Billing), and copy the key immediately (np_live_...). For security, keys are hashed and only displayed once.

2. Default SSH Keys​

Upload your public keys (~/.ssh/id_ed25519.pub). Any key saved in Settings is automatically installed in /root/.ssh/authorized_keys upon instance creation, eliminating the need to supply passwords.

3. Global Startup Scripts​

Define bash commands that will execute automatically as root whenever an instance boots:
