Enabling API Mode

If you wish to programmatically send generation payloads from external web applications to Automatic1111:

1. SSH into the instance or open the startup flags configuration.
2. Edit webui-user.sh to include --api:

   COMMANDLINE_ARGS="--listen --port 7860 --enable-insecure-extension-access --api"

3. Restart the service. Your instance port 7860 will now accept standard /sdapi/v1/txt2img JSON payloads.
